Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 8, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Ariametrics web application and Google Sheets™ Add-on (the “Service”) operated by Ariametrics (“us,” “we,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
1. Description of Service
The Service provides software tools to synchronize data from third-party advertising platforms (currently Meta Ads via the Marketing API v24.0) directly into Google Sheets™. The Service operates as a stateless data pipeline— a pass-through conduit that fetches data from source APIs and writes it to your designated spreadsheet. The Service is provided “as is” and is intended to automate data reporting tasks.
No shipping is involved. As a SaaS product, access to the Service is activated immediately upon account creation or subscription purchase. You can manage your subscription through the Service interface or by contacting support.
2. Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.
You are responsible for:
- Safeguarding the authentication credentials (including Google OAuth and Meta OAuth sessions) that you use to access the Service.
- All activities and actions that occur under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
- Ensuring that connected third-party accounts (Meta Ads, Google Sheets™) are accounts you are authorized to access.
3. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Merchant of Record
3.1 Subscription Billing
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly), depending on the plan you select. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
3.2 Merchant of Record
All payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and refund administration are handled exclusively by Polar.sh, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing to the Service:
- You agree to Polar.sh’s terms of service and payment policies as applicable to the processing of your payment.
- Ariametrics does not directly collect, store, or process payment card information. All financial transactions are handled by Polar.sh. We are not liable for payment processing errors, tax computation discrepancies, or billing disputes arising from Polar.sh’s systems.
- Pricing information is exclusive of applicable taxes. Polar.sh handles tax compliance for your jurisdiction.
3.3 Free Trial
New users may receive a 14-day free trial of the Starter plan. No credit card is required for the trial. At trial expiry, you must activate a paid subscription to continue using the Service. Your queries will be blocked with an HTTP 402 status until a paid plan is active.
3.4 Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next renewal date through the Service interface.
- If you cancel before renewal, your access remains active until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be applied after cancellation.
- Refund requests are handled by Polar.sh in accordance with their refund policy. We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods or cancellations made after a renewal has been processed.
4. Fair Use, Usage Limits, and Anti-Circumvention
4.1 Plan-Based Limits
Your use of the Service is subject to the entitlement limits defined by your subscription plan, including but not limited to:
| Limit Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Ad Account Connections | Maximum number of Meta Ad Accounts you may connect |
| Query Weight Cap | Maximum complexity score per query (computed as metrics × audience breakdowns × ⌈days/7⌉) |
| Rate Limit (RPM) | Maximum requests per minute within a 60-second sliding window |
| Daily API Budget | Maximum number of Meta API calls per UTC calendar day |
| Sync Frequency | Daily or weekly, depending on plan |
We reserve the right to enforce rate limits, throttle automated syncs, or request plan upgrades if your usage exceeds the intended scope of your plan or negatively impacts the stability of the Service for other users.
4.2 Anti-Circumvention
You expressly agree that you will not:
- Create multiple accounts or workspaces to circumvent query weight caps, RPM limits, daily API budgets, or ad account connection limits.
- Share, transfer, or resell your account credentials or subscription access to third parties.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other mechanisms to bypass or exploit Service rate limits, other than the authorized automated sync functionality provided by the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Service or its Add-on code.
Violation of this clause is grounds for immediate termination of your account without refund.
5. Data Accuracy Disclaimer (No Warranty on Third-Party Data)
The Service retrieves data exclusively from third-party APIs (currently Meta’s Marketing API v24.0). We do not independently verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data returned by these APIs.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Data discrepancies between the data shown in the Meta Ads Manager dashboard and the data returned via the Meta API are a known and documented behavior of Meta’s platform, and are outside our control.
- Reporting delays, data revisions, and metric deprecations by Meta are not attributable to the Service.
- The Service provides data “as received” from the source API with no additional transformation, interpolation, or estimation.
- You should not rely solely on data retrieved via the Service for financial, legal, or regulatory reporting without independent verification.
6. Spreadsheet Overwrite Disclaimer
The Service writes data to designated sheet tabs and cell ranges in your Google Spreadsheet, as configured by you through saved queries. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Data written by the Service to your designated
target_sheetandstart_cellmay overwrite existing content in those cells. We are not liable for any loss of data in your Google Sheets™ resulting from the Service’s write operations. - You are solely responsible for configuring the correct target sheet tab and starting cell for each saved query.
- Automated syncs will execute at the scheduled time and overwrite data in the configured locations — it is your responsibility to ensure no critical data occupies those cells.
We strongly recommend using dedicated sheet tabs for connector output and keeping source data separate.
7. The “Right to Purge” (Automated Credential Enforcement)
As described in our Privacy Policy, to maintain security and minimize attack surface:
- If third-party authentication tokens fail for 7 consecutive days (e.g., due to revoked permissions or expired credentials), we automatically purge those credentials from our systems. This may result in the cessation of automated syncs and require re-authentication.
- Users may also trigger an immediate credential purge via the “Disconnect Account” action in the Service UI.
- Following an automated purge, you must re-authenticate the affected third-party service to resume normal operation.
This is a security enforcement mechanism, not a penalty. It protects both you and our infrastructure from stale or potentially compromised credentials.
8. Business Tier Exception (Custom Charts and Dashboard Features)
For the avoidance of doubt:
- Custom Chart Definitions, which store configuration intellectual property on our servers, are available exclusively to users on Business/Enterprise tiers with Dashboard access.
- Standard Connector plan users do not have access to features that store persistent configuration data on our servers. The Zero-Storage Promise (as defined in our Privacy Policy) applies in full to Connector plan users.
- Dashboard configuration, chart layout, and sync scheduling for the web-based Dashboard are outside the scope of the Connector product.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content and third-party data sourced from APIs), features, software, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Ariametrics and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Your query configurations, spreadsheet templates, and saved query labels remain your intellectual property.
10. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall we, nor our directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on or related to the Service.
- Any inaccuracies, discrepancies, delays, or omissions in data returned by third-party APIs (including Meta’s Marketing API).
- Data loss in your Google Sheets™ caused by the Service’s write operations as configured by you.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
- Payment processing errors, tax discrepancies, or billing disputes arising from Polar.sh’s systems.
- Interruption, suspension, or termination of automated syncs due to credential failure, rate limiting, or third-party API outages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranty
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be completely uninterrupted or error-free.
- Data from third-party APIs will always be available, accurate, or timely.
- Automated syncs will execute successfully at every scheduled interval.
- The results from query execution will meet your specific reporting requirements.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms — particularly the Anti-Circumvention clause (§4.2).
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
- Stored credentials will be purged in accordance with the Right to Purge (§7).
- Account information is retained for 30 days post-termination for legal compliance, then deleted.
If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting support or discontinuing use of the Service.
13. Links to Other Websites and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Ariametrics. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services that you interact with.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 7 days’ notice before the new terms take effect, communicated via email or an in-Service notification.
By continuing to access or use our Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
